"We created Flagcat with the aim of offering ambitious action/fantasy webtoons to our readers, while respecting the working conditions of our artists. Thanks to an innovative organization and the development of productivity tools, we are convinced that the webtoon industry can become a field of fulfillment for our talents.
Right now, webtoon is way too demanding, putting monumental pressure on artists' shoulders.
Production rates are insane, with over 100 colorized images to be delivered every week. Only a few large Korean studios manage to publish action/fantasy series, known for their complex, time-consuming action scenes,
often at the cost of physical and mental health of their artists, working more than 100 hours a week.
We're convinced that the webtoon is the future of digital comics, and that studios need to drive new rules, allowing creators to offer ever more imaginative content without compromising their well-being."
